Financial Wellness
A Better Relationship with Money!
One of the most important life skills needed to thrive is the ability to manage stress. Coping with stress is a critical skill, but the best way to manage stress is to reduce what is causing it. At the top of the list of stressors is finances. The solutions being offered today tend to focus on budgeting, debt reduction, and retirement planning. All very important, but unless the individual’s relationship with money changes, nothing will change. The 5 Essentials for Financial Wellness and The Case for Financial Wellness courses included in our Financial Wellness Facilitator Certificate course prepare you to offer financial life skills that will help employees make better decisions with their money for years to come.

NWI’s Partnership with the Foundation for Financial Wellness
The National Wellness Institute (NWI) has partnered with the Foundation for Financial Wellness (FFW)— whose team includes the former Wellness Program Director at NASA, an award-winning educator, and a top-performing financial advisor—to develop courses that look at financial wellness through the lens of NWI’s Six Dimensions of Wellness model. Typically, people say that after taking part in one of FFW’s learning experience, their employees are less distracted, more engaged, and more satisfied with their work and pay, thus enhancing their overall wellness.
Located in Greenwood Village, Colorado, the Foundation for Financial Wellness was founded by its Executive Director Brent Hines. The Foundation’s mission is to improve people’s lives by empowering them with the knowledge and motivation to take control over their financial lives. The Foundation’s curriculum is rooted in the principles of Behavioral Finance which makes every class taught by the Foundation unique, engaging, and extremely valuable.
