With a long history of leading the charge in supporting wellness for individuals and workplaces, the Wellness Alliance offers trusted education and certification programs, evidence-informed resources, and networking opportunities, so that professionals are empowered to positively impact well-being. Together, we are wellness.
Frequently Asked Questions
When can I access resources of both memberships?
Those who join now, OR who have renewal dates in October, November or December of 2024, will be able to become 2025 members of the Wellness Alliance, and will gain access to NWI and WELCOA resources for the remainder of 2024. Access will be with two different sign-ons—one for each website.
Beginning in early 2025, any member of either NWI or WELCOA automatically becomes a Wellness Alliance member and receives access to all resources via the Wellness Alliance. Unique memberships to NWI or WELCOA will cease. At this point, a single sign-on will be available.
How do I access my member benefits?
If you join or renew for the 2025 Wellness Alliance membership in 2024, you will have two different sign-ons. In 2025, there will be a single sign-on. Members will receive emailed instructions on how to access their benefits.

- Individual Membership: Provides full membership benefits to one person.

Can I just stay with WELCOA or NWI, or must I join the Wellness Alliance?
NWI and WELCOA are merging to form the Wellness Alliance. Membership in WELCOA or NWI will no longer be available.
What if I’m a member of both organizations right now?
We will reach out to you with options as your renewal date approaches. Meanwhile, you will continue to have access to both organizations. Two different websites with two different sign-ons will continue through the end of 2024. In early 2025, a single Wellness Alliance website and sign-on will be available.
If one or both of your memberships have a renewal date in the fourth quarter of 2024, you will have the option to renew at that time with the Wellness Alliance. Your Wellness Alliance membership would expire December 31, 2025. You would have access to both NWI and WELCOA resources using two sign-ons until early 2025.
The alternative is letting your 2024 membership lapse, in which case you would not have access to all of the Wellness Alliance’s benefits until early 2025.
Once you renew with the Alliance, your membership will expire December 31, 2025. Your dues will be prorated if applicable.
I’m a Certified Wellness Practitioner (CWP). How does this impact me?
You will be receiving specific details about your membership and how it works with the new Wellness Alliance.
Given the Wellness Alliance is a strategic partner with the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans, are there joint membership opportunities between the two?
At this time, the memberships of the International Foundation and the Wellness Alliance are separate.
Can I get a refund for membership dues?
Membership dues are non-refundable.

Please reach out to support@wellnessalliance.org and we’ll help you through organizational changes.
